Jury

David Laňka

His film work is characterized by creative diversity, naturally changing styles and genres. Whether it is the mystery thriller Listen, the psychological drama Together or the romantic series Stars Overhead, all have achieved audience and professional acclaim. In addition to his film work, he is also active in the field of children's literature, with his Bill Madlafouska trilogy and the fairy tale book Welcome to Hell! have become bestsellers. The central point of his dramatic work is the exploration of the human psyche in liminal situations. He describes himself as a feminist, so it is not surprising that most of his works feature a strong female protagonist.

Václav Huleš

Our Jury Member Václav Huleš! The remarkable director behind the captivating student film "Father," not only received a prestigious Czech Lion nomination but also graced us with the beauty of numerous well-deserved awards. His creative journey has spanned across diverse genres and formats, from thought-provoking video clips to captivating commercials that resonate with audiences on a profound level.
